The course will help gain an understanding of the scientific method and how research in psychology, social sciences, and other related fields is planned, carried out, and communicated.
The students will get hands-on experience on doing a literature review, and starting their own research project. They will also get the opportunity to write an academic paper and understand how peer-reviewed publication processes work. Students will learn how to design experiments, and collect, analyze and interpret data.

The course will be delivered hybrid with 22 hours of in-person lectures and 8 hours of online lectures. The in-person classes will also be made available online. Attendance in-person is recommended but not mandatory.
