New Paragraph

Welcome to the Aesthetics Journal Club (AJC)!

It was started in May 2020, by Dr. Ionela Bara and our founder, Dr. Kohinoor Darda, remotely as a platform to discuss diverse papers, issues, and ideas related to the theoretical and empirical studies of aesthetics and arts. It was a great way to keep up-to-date on the literature in the field of empirical aesthetics and neuroaesthetics and connect with some super-amazing friends and researchers during the pandemic!

The AJC has restarted!! It is an inclusive club, and everyone is welcome. Anyone can propose a possible topic and present, so please do come along and get involved. Attendees can ask clarifying questions, discuss methods, critique methods and interpretations, or talk about future implications and directions, among other things. Members are also welcome to present their data, practice talks, or get feedback on a new project idea.😊

Meetings will be held remotely once every six weeks on Wednesday at 17:30 IST / 13:00 CET, starting from November 8th, 2023. You can check for your time zone here.

You can sign up or send an email to Samrddhee Pathare at [samrddhee.pathare@arisafoundation.org] so she can ensure you’re on the mailing list!!

You can take a look at the the subject matter of older AJC meetings here.

We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!! 😊
