We collect personal information (including demographic and personal profile data) as volunteered by you in registration forms and subscription requests. However, you can access our web site without disclosing any of your personal data. ARISA Foundation also collects the following (non-identifying) information:

• The operating system you use (for example, Windows, Macintosh).
• The date and time of your visit the pages you access.

ARISA Foundation does not actively store or use cookies through their website. If any, these could be WordPress or Google Analytics cookies. Enabling or disabling cookies will not have any adverse impact on the website’s performance from a user’s perspective.

ARISA Foundation uses the information to help us understand more about how supporters use our site and to make improvements. 

We also use the information for marketing purposes such as sending you our e-newsletter. If you have subscribed to the ARISA Foundation e-newsletter you will receive it by email on a monthly or quarterly basis.

The information you provide will not be sold or rented nor will it be shared with third parties unless we have your permission, are required to disclose the information by law. If there is any change in government policy about disclosure of donation details, we will furnish the details to the government without the donors consent.

ARISA Foundation uses industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers. We make every effort to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100 percent secure.

You can ask for correction or deletion of your personal data by requesting for a change through email info@arisafoundation.org

We will only send you emails if you have given us permission to contact you about ARISA Foundation's work. We do not send out random, untargeted emails (spam). Any emails we send you will enable you to opt-out of receiving further emails from us. We will clearly state whether we received your details from an organisation who recommended you to us.

The safety of participants is very important to us. The identity of participants will not be revealed at any point in time. No sensitive information will be posted at ARISA FOUNDATION about participants. All applicable laws are followed with respect to human participants’ data collection. No sharing of personal data regarding participants with any third parties is permitted at any time under any circumstances. Our security measures and this policy are reviewed on a regular basis.

Yes, you can cancel a donation that you have made any time up to 30 days after your payment was made. If you decide to cancel a donation after 30 days, we will refund the donation provided the donation has not been used for a charitable project.

Yes, you can ask for a refund for a donation any time up to 30 days after payment was made. 

However, in case of refund the Original 80G receipt should be submitted to the Organisation. If 80G receipt is lost by donor then a declaration should be provided stating that “I have lost the donation receipt of Rs.____________ having receipt number____, and this is to declare that I will not claim this donation amount for income tax exemption”.

We will send you a receipt for your donation in the post and/or via email, according to your preferences.
