Namisha Chamaria

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/ Philosophy and a Master’s in Applied Psychology from TISS. I am also an incoming student at Philadelphia Association’s course on Community, Philosophy and Psychotherapy. I work as a psychotherapist and when I am not one, I spend my time with research. My research interests predominantly lie in the interdisciplinary fields of neurosciences with personality, psychopathology, cognition, art, culture and movement. I am particularly drawn towards psychoanalysis and am curious about exploring its intersection with neuroscience. As a neurodivergent individual, I am excited about delving into the plethora of possibilities that neuroscience has to offer in understanding us and our world. I hope to pursue training as a psychoanalyst and PhD in the field of neurosciences in the future. Outside work, I love to read, lift weights in the gym, dance, swim and in a true gen-z style vibe with my inner circle through memes, Instagram reels, and zoom calls.
